The PVL-9BP required more out-of-box adjustment than expected for a lift at this price. One safety lock was sticky, a hydraulic line needed tightening, and the arm restraints required calibration. After addressing everything with help from tech support, the lift works well. The ALI certification is genuine and the compact height is great.
The PVL-9BP meets the ALI standard and the 9,000 lb capacity is genuine. The SLS is a nice extra safety layer. The compact height suits our low-ceiling shop. However, one hydraulic fitting leaked on first use, the manual is nearly useless for installation, and support took a while to respond. Works fine after repairs.
Solid ALI-certified lift with good capacity and safety features. The compact height is its biggest selling point for our shop. The 6mm steel columns feel sturdy. The chain-drive cylinders work but are louder than expected. Some paint quality issues and the baseplate needed shimming for level installation. Adequate for the price.
