The HW-12HD is a capable 12,000 lb lift with CE certification, direct-drive dual cylinders, and quality robot-welded construction. The 3-year warranty is excellent. However, the 160-inch height needs 14+ foot ceilings, the 6-inch reinforced concrete at 3,500 PSI required costly slab work, and the 2,100 lb shipping weight requires serious equipment. Budget for the infrastructure.

Trade-offs include the 160-inch height needing very tall ceilings, strict 6-inch 3,500 PSI concrete requirement, 2,100 lb shipping weight, and somewhat narrow drive-through clearance.

However, one safety lock was stiff, the installation manual was inadequate for a lift this complex, and the 99 23/32-inch drive-through is tight for wide trucks.
